It is with sadness that we announce the departure of Dr. Geneveve Filion from Higganum Veterinary Clinic.

After serving the veterinary commuting for almost 25 years (18 of those served here in the State of Connecticut), she has made the decision to leave general practice. She has been presented with an opportunity to transition into specialty practice with a focus on dentistry. Though we are sad to see her go, we support her and send her off with our very best wishes on her future endeavors. Her final day will be Friday, February 21, 2025.

We understand the impact this may have on our clients, however, while we are seeking another exceptional veterinarian to join the Higganum Vet family, we would like to take this opportunity to assure you that Dr. DeAngelo, Dr. Kumar and the rest of the Higganum Veterinary Clinic care team are deeply committed to continuing the quality of care you have come to expect.
